Baptisms

Baptisms are possible for those who live in Irlam. We baptise around 70 babies and children every year ( and the occasional adult). Baptisms usually take place on the second Sunday of each month at either 12:30pm or 2:00pm.

Weddings

If one of you lives in, or has connections with Irlam ( for instance, if you or your parents have lived here at some time since you were born), you can almost certainly be married in the church

We do take weddings of those who are divorced. The cost of a wedding in 2010 is £531, including organist and choir; but if this is a problem, please talk with us. We'd like to see you married in church if that is what you want.

For both weddings and baptisms, if you live in the parish you do not need to attend church before hand, though we would very much hope that you would want to.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***

During July, to arrange a wedding or baptism please come along to the church (not the vicarage) on a Thursday evening* between 7:00pm & 8:00pm.

* except close to Chirstmas or Easter.
